Like on the sidekick .. they had applications and most of them had a monthly fee to use .. is this how the iphone is going to work as well? Or will there just be a 1 time download fee?

    if ur talking bout the new 3g..then after reading this..

    buyers could choose a pay-as-you-go plan for voice service– there is no prepaid data plan from AT&T– or just use the device as a media player and calendar and access the Web via its Wi-Fi radio. Unlike the slimmer iPod Touch, the iPhone has a camera and a small speaker. The numerous third-party applications coming to the iPhone later this month presumably also could be used without a service plan.

    im guessing its going to be free..except like download songs and movies..so i dont know. i wanna know too.

    the app store is going to be similar to the itunes music store. there are free apps such as aim and then there are apps you pay for such as games. once you buy an app or download it for free it shows up as an icon on your screen and pretty much stays unless you delete it.

    pretty cool huh?
