Help with iphone, downloaded applications not working?

Yesterday I got the 3G, and started downloading some free apps, facebook, and 2 games. But whenever I try to launch them they start up like they are going to load (the games say”loading”) but after a few seconds they disappear and the phone goes back to the home screen.
I restarted the phone, but that didn’t get them working.
hmmm, I don’t think it’s memory, I have nothing else downloaded besides about 200 songs and it says it’s nowhere near full.

I had the same problem. I was downloading the app using the phone through the cell network and it did what you describe. I haven’t found the reason why yet though. (so let me know if you can find out why
)
However, what I have found is that if you download on computer with itunes and sync with phone it does work.
