Just try resetting it. Hold down the home button and the sleep/wake button at the same time for like 10 seconds. If that doesn’t work, try restoring it with iTunes.

Mine does that too, a lot actually. I just give it a minute and it works fine again. I think it’s just like a computer where it’ll freeze if you have it doing too much at once. It’s not a serious problem though, so you needn’t worry.

Mine was frozen for a while, so I pressed the power button for a couple of seconds, then it restrated.
