should i get the old iphone or wait for the new one?

ive been waiting for the iphone 3g to come out for a long time but ive been thinking… should i just get the older iphone? if i get the old iphone then i will be able to unlock it and install a bunch of cool applications to it which the newer one wont allow you do cus you need to buy a contract once you purchase the phone…but then again theres supposed to be a new app store and lots of the apps will be free…and 3g network probably wont work in my area. i also wanted the iphone this way i could bring it on vacation and of course im going the 27th of june and the new iphone comes out july 11..what do i do?

the iPhone 3G is for an 8GB model $199 and the old iPhone is $399. it is soo much cheaper. and it looks nicer
The new iPhone that is coming out is also cheaper, so I definitely think you should wait. It’s $100 dollars cheaper, looks nicer, and also comes in white. You may be able to score some accessory deals when the new one comes out, too.

Definitely wait for the newer one. Alot of glitches have been fixed in the new one.
You should wait for the new one. They are letting 3rd parties make applications for the new iphone; they didn’t let them make it for the old iphone. Also, the new iphone is so much cheaper, and it’ll be faster.
